Fit4Less is GoodLife's low-cost gym brand, with clubs across Canada. Here is how cancelling works according to Fit4Less's own help centre (checked October 29, 2026). Moving up to GoodLife or leaving altogether? See cancelling GoodLife.
How to cancel Fit4Less, step by step
- Go to the self-service kiosk in the front vestibule of a Fit4Less club (members and guests can use it).
- Choose cancel your membership and follow the steps.
- Can't get to a club? Call your club (numbers are on Fit4Less's website).
- Keep a photo or note of the confirmation and the date.
- Expect payments to continue through the 30-day notice, then check your bank statement.
What else the kiosk does
- Pick up or replace your membership card ($20 + tax for a replacement).
- Update personal, banking or payment information; make or pre-pay a payment.
- Upgrade to Black Card, downgrade, or add "Lock in my rate".
- Non-members can join or buy a guest pass ($20 + tax).
- Some changes can only be made at the kiosk, not at the front desk.

Your rights by province
- Ontario: for memberships paid $50 or more in advance, you have a 10-day cooling-off period from receiving a written copy of your contract, and you can use the gym during it. Cancel in writing (email, hand delivery with a signed receipt, or registered mail).
- British Columbia: you can cancel for any reason within 10 days of receiving a copy of your contract, and you can cancel if the business makes an impactful change to its services (it moves, or an amenity like a pool closes). The business has 15 days to respond and refund.
- Québec: you can cancel before services start at no charge, or within the first 1/10 of the contract's length for a fee of at most 1/10 of the total price. Send the cancellation form or a written notice (registered mail recommended); refunds are due within 10 days.
- Everywhere else: your contract sets the rules; your provincial consumer protection office can help if a gym will not process valid notice. More detail: your rights by province.
Cancelling to save money? Keep the habit
Most people cancel because the gym got expensive or they stopped going. The habit is the part worth keeping. Cheaper options: a day or guest pass when you need the equipment, a cheaper gym (see how to pay less for a gym membership), or home workouts (three free home routines). GymAdapt (our app) rebuilds your plan for whatever equipment you have, free. Get GymAdapt free on the App Store →
GymAdapt is free to start. Want Pro free for a month?
The free version gives you an AI-built plan and unlimited workouts. Code TRYFREE01 adds a full month of Pro: weights that adjust from what you log and unlimited coach chats.
Redeem the free month → Opens the App Store with the code filled in. iPhone only. After the free month, Pro renews unless you cancel in Settings, and the free version stays yours either way.Questions people ask
