Game of the week: Chiefs at Raiders, 3-0 vs 3-0
Five teams are 3-0: the Bills, Vikings, 49ers, Chiefs and Raiders. Two of them meet Sunday in Las Vegas, and it might be the biggest game the Raiders have played since moving there in 2020. The Raiders are only the second team in NFL history to start 3-0 after back-to-back seasons of 13 or more losses, joining the 1980 49ers. They have done it with Kirk Cousins at quarterback. No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman winner who led Indiana to a perfect season and a national title, has not taken a snap. Tight end Brock Bowers' return gives Cousins his best weapon back.
Kansas City is laying 4.5 on the road. The Chiefs beat Miami 24-10 last week; the Raiders outscored the Saints 35-27. Our lean is the Chiefs to win and the Raiders to keep it inside the number at home.

- Commanders 33, Seahawks 31 and Ravens 34, Cowboys 31 were the two best finishes.

- Colts 19, Texans 17 left Houston 0-3. The Texans are 2.5-point favorites at home against Dallas this week and badly need it.

Broncos at 49ers (-2.5). San Francisco is 3-0 and a short home favorite against a Denver team that beat the Rams 30-26. The closest line on the board between two good teams.
Lions at Panthers, Sunday night. The highest total of the week at 50.5. Detroit won a shootout with the Jets 31-24 last week.
Jaguars at Bengals (-2.5). Jacksonville just scored 35 against New England; Cincinnati lost a 30-27 thriller in Pittsburgh. The total is 51.5.
Steelers at Browns, Thursday. A 38.5 total says defense. Cleveland beat Carolina 21-18 last week and gets three points at home.
Colts vs Commanders in London. A 1-2 vs 1-2 game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Colts favored by 3.5.
The 0-3 club
The Texans, Buccaneers, Titans, Dolphins and Chargers are all winless. Only Houston is favored this week. Miami (+10.5 at Minnesota) and Tennessee (+11.5 at Baltimore) are the biggest underdogs on the board.
